Dr. Brian Taylor completed his general surgery residency training at the University of Western Ontario followed by a fellowship in colorectal surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. He joined the staff at St. Joseph’s Health Care London in 1983 and held the position of Chief, Department of Surgery from 1990-1999. From 1999 to 2005 he held the position of Chair/Chief of General Surgery at London Health Sciences Centre practicing out of University Hospital. He has a broad interest in general surgery, and his main areas of interest in colorectal surgery are colon cancer, Crohn’s, ulcerative colitis, fecal incontinence and gastrointestinal motility disorders.
